COMS 133: Media Literacy

Search Newspapers

Select the tabs below to switch between US and international newspapers.

Some of the links lead to online databases that are part of Preus Library's subscribed collections. By using these links, you can access content from these newspapers without encountering article limits or paywalls. The description text (e.g. "Full text online for issues published...") tells you what years you may access without restriction.

Other links lead directly to the actual news websites. On these sites, you might encounter ads and/or limits on the number of articles you may view before hitting a paywall.

For more information about setting up your special New York Times subscription, please view our guide.

TIP: Accessing library resources from off-campus

If you are trying to access resources in Preus Library's subscriptions while you are off campus, make sure you are going through the library catalog or a guide like this. Otherwise, you might hit a paywall. By going through the catalog or a guide, you will be prompted to log in with your Norse Key.

Newpaper & Current News Databases

Several of the newspapers above are provided through the following databases.

Preus Library subscribes to these databases in order to provide access to a large variety of newspapers and other news material. Newspaper Source Plus also provides some transcript coverage from various news programs.
