The Research Process

This guide walks through some research strategies and points to resources, tools, and people that can help.

Information Creation is a Process

As you work through your research project, pay attention to process.

  • How do the choices you're making affect your finished product?
    • What information are you going to include? What points of view are you leaving out?
    • How are you going to present your findings?
  • What can you learn about the processes used to create the information you're finding and citing? What can you learn from those processes?
