Writing Guides and the Chicago Manual of Style (CMS)

Style guides are used by scholars to properly format their essays and citations. As an academic discipline, historians typically use the Chicago Manual of Style (CMS) to format their citations and bibliographies. These are some resources to help you properly format your paper and your citations.

What is Zotero?

Zotero is a citation management program you can use to organize and track all the resources you find during research. This research guide by Preus librarian Germano Streese is an excellent introduction to using Zotero as part of your research process.
