Finding Pop Culture Resources

Search Tips for Social Media

Doing some informal research on where music and media personalities participate in social media can lead to more authoritative sources. If you log in to specific platforms, they should have tips on how to search posts for content and context through keywords, handles, hashtags, domains, and dates. Since the social media and online ecosystems can change rapidly, it may be beneficial to capture your information through screen shots or photos. Be sure to document the date you consulted a source, in case the information changes before you next take a look.
