The measurement instruments in the yearbook cover a wide range of topics – educational, behavioral, personality, etc. The descriptions are arranged alphabetically by the title of the instrument. There are several indexes to assist in finding information – title, names(authors), publisher, score, and appendix. Mental measurements can be searched online. However, reviews from the online source are not available without purchasing them.

Mental Measurements reviews of tests from Buros' Mental Measurements series are available online. However, to access the reviews online, payment is required. Reviews of tests are available in the print Mental Measurement Yearbook found in the library.

The Tests in Prints series provides a description of commercially published tests that are currently available. It also is a comprehensive index to all editions of the Mental Measurement Yearbook series.
