The Research Help Desk is located on the Main Floor of Preus Library, adjacent to the Technology Help Desk and near the Writing Help Desk. The staff working at these desks will work together to help you with questions related to research.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, librarians are providing research help through virtual appointments and web chat during the 2020-2021 school year.
The librarians who work at the Research Help Desk staff specialize in questions related to developing search strategies, using the catalog and library databases, finding research materials, choosing appropriate materials, and evaluating sources.
